We Are Paintball!!
Welcome to the Atlantic Paintball League (more commonly referred to as the APBL). Our goal is simple: ” To dedicate ourselves to providing our players with a fair and competitive league in which to compete “. Starting with humble beginnings, over time we have raised the bar for competitive paintball in Atlantic Canada.
In 2010, we had one of the largest prize pools offered in Atlantic Canada. In 2011, we decided to “open our doors” and do away with the “Franchise Format” to allow teams to play single events and compete for that event’s prize pool. Teams that commit to the entire season will receive a discount on their event fees. The team that wins the overall prize will have there team name immortalized on the Atlantic Cup.
Another large change that is happening in 2011 is our format shift to NPPL based 7-man. We feel that this format will revitalize the aspect of ”teamwork” and camaraderie that has drifted away over the past few seasons. Teammates will now have to work together as a cohesive unit in order to overcome the competition. This will add another dynamic to the game that has been somewhat lost since the advent of the XBALL format.
